Day 1 – Slow Living on Bali's West Coast

Leave Bali's busy tourist hotspots behind and drive towards Wide Sands Beach Retreat, a hidden beachfront resort on Bali's peaceful west coast. Surrounded by coconut trees and overlooking the Indian Ocean, this is the kind of place where doing absolutely nothing feels like the perfect plan. After checking in, take a slow walk along the quiet black-sand beach, relax by the infinity pool, or simply enjoy the sea breeze with your favourite book. There are no beach clubs, loud music, or traffic jams—just the sound of waves and complete relaxation.

As sunset paints the sky in shades of orange and pink, enjoy dinner at the resort's restaurant overlooking the ocean. Fresh local ingredients, peaceful surroundings, and uninterrupted sea views make this one of those dinners you'll remember long after your trip ends. Finish the evening listening to the waves before falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Estimated Budget – Day 1

  • Wide Sands Beach Retreat: IDR 1,200,000

  • Dinner at the resort: IDR 250,000

  • Drinks or dessert: IDR 75,000

Total: Approximately IDR 1,525,000

Day 2 – Dolphins, Lovina & Fresh Seafood

After a leisurely breakfast, continue your scenic coastal drive north to Lovina, one of Bali's most relaxed seaside towns. Check into Sunari Beach Resort, then spend the afternoon enjoying the hotel's beachfront pool or strolling along Lovina Beach before calling it an early night.

Before sunrise the following morning, board a traditional fishing boat and head out into the calm Bali Sea. As daylight slowly appears, wild dolphins begin swimming around the boat, creating one of Bali's most magical wildlife experiences. Unlike many crowded tourist attractions, the atmosphere here feels peaceful and surprisingly intimate.

After returning to shore, reward yourself with breakfast before spending a little more time relaxing by the beach. If you're not ready to leave, browse Lovina's small cafés or simply enjoy the slower pace that makes northern Bali feel so different from the island's south.

In the evening, head to one of Lovina's local seafood restaurants, where freshly grilled fish, prawns, squid, and Balinese sambal are served at prices that almost feel too good to be true. It's proof that some of Bali's best seafood is found far away from the island's busiest tourist areas.

Estimated Budget – Day 2

  • Sunari Beach Resort: IDR 900,000

  • Dolphin tour: IDR 200,000

  • Seafood dinner: IDR 180,000

  • Drinks and snacks: IDR 70,000

Total: Approximately IDR 1,350,000
